I really think you may have misunderstood the spirit of LaComtesse's last comment. As someone who doesn't have the same experience as you do, she was thanking you for helping her put together thoughts based on what she already knows. Connections that she, as an extrovert, didn't automatically make for herself.

Same here! Finally, I could explain to my family and friends why I really needed to bundle up for winter or I couldn't be out long. It makes your extremities super sensitive to cold.

I love leggings. I always wear them with a shirt or coat that covers my ass, though (personal choice). They're comfy, they suit my body better than jeggings (and their bullshit stretched out knees after 20 minutes).

I just wear cheap $10 cotton leggings under my jeans with comfy socks. I cannot emphasize the importance of warm socks.

You are fabulous.

We actually switched from store brand foods to a raw food diet for our pup because we found it was cheaper than the healthy kibbles (at least in our area). We started with cooked ground meat because we weren't sure about trying raw, but after speaking with a number of pet lovers, experts, and vets, we decided to try

That dress was tacky as hell.

Let's take back "bitches"

That's utter bullshit that they treated you that way, but FWIW, my mom had her period for 6 months while carrying me. (Also, she must be a saint. Period AND pregnancy? No.)

Now that you make excellent metaphors of tigers and moths, I think snails have probably always been the ones for me.

It was a graphic novel for a long while before then, and Courtney Love actually curated the soundtrack to the movie (and included a song by Bush).

Personally, I think anything is fine as long as it's fine with both people in the relationship. Whatever works!

Yeah, I missed that bit, and everyone hates me now.

What Sabelotodo said. I just thought that was a standard rule, but I guess my schools were different.

Damn, I'm surprised at the responses to this. My schools always had a "no toy weapons" rule. We could play with them at the babysitters and at home, but at school that wasn't allowed at all. I didn't realize how far off the rules at the schools I attended were from everyone else's.

Toy guns are not appropriate for school, even when they're pink and shoot bubbles. That said, this is a ridiculous overreaction to a toy gun.

*Shakes fist* :D

To be honest, it felt like vilifying Underwood, and that bothers me more than the idea it's a shot at him (always been an Alfie/Neil fan, less so Fisher), because it's such a douche move to blame the wife.

Word. I just ranted about this because I have poor impulse control.

Regarding the Underwood story, it is disrespectful. I'm a Sens fan, where Mike Fisher was traded from a few years back, it's infuriating to hear that people are still saying that crap.
