I agree with you, I’m glad that social justice has been swift and unkind to him and his family/supporters. But as we have learned, our country as a whole has very short attention spans. This will all be yesterday’s news in a month or so. He needs and damn well deserves a lengthy prison sentence.

Nope. Plenty of other prisoners face all that and years behind bars. This fucker is the poster child for needing a long sentence. Did you read his statement to the court? He blames Stanford, alcohol and slutty women. Not a single thing in his proclamation was about his personal responsibility.

I might be misremembering, but when they played the video on the news I thought I heard on the audio that the boy kept saying he was going to climb the wall and the mom kept telling him no, then she turns around and oh hey, guess what, he climbs the wall.

When I was doing literacy tutoring with a 3rd grader we read all the Frog & Toad books. Most easy readers are just awful, but Frog & Toad books are lovely.
