Even as savagely anti-GHWB as I was at the time, I was so vicariously mortified and horrified and embarrassed for him when this happened. God, how horrible! Everyone’s nightmare, come to life. If it were me, I would have had to resign as President the next day, or just let them continue to think I was dead.

EVERYONE has been advised to use particulate-rated face masks (like N95 paper masks) if they must go outdoors. It’s not just people with asthma. High levels of particulates are dangerous to healthy lungs.

Tamales are best made in a group, with a couple people per role. After a while, making a bunch more for someone to take home doesn’t add that much effort. Then again, they’re even easier to just buy, especially if you don’t have space for 50 of them at home.

I’m not familiar with this particular machine or workflow, but based on the descriptions I’ve heard, this sounds like something that comes up in my line of work all the time. IMO, that’s Chicago. Traveled to both when I was in HS on family vacation an explored both on foot mostly. As soon as lights turned green in Chicago, people were on their horn. every. single. light.
