Scarlet & Violet are closer to what I want this series to evolve into, but I don’t think they’re there yet. It’s not just the performance issues. The battle system is still nonsensically slow (how long are we going to have a separate message box for everything that happens in battle?), the map is useless, boxes take

Pokemon always has issues, I’m honestly not surprised. When I played Sun it dropped to like 5 FPS during those battles with the yellow aura. A turn based battle with 2 models ground to a halt because one of the models had a visual effect.

Shame I won’t be watching Mob. Really loved the first 2 seasons but disappointed in the voice actor shenanigans.

I own the original games on PS1, as well as the Switch version and PS4 release. I love these games but I will not be buying them again now that they want some of the sweet Eiyden moolah after the shit they’ve pulled for years...despite how undeniably beautiful these look.

It really depends on what form this takes. I don’t 100% get to choose when I’m able to play a game, and it arbitrarily deciding it’s not sunny enough IRL for me to kill enemies would annoy me.

I didn’t like the ending but I wouldn’t say I’m a purist. I loved most of the changes and additions to the game apart from the Whispers.

It’s how your neck works. You pull the muscle back to look up, and push it forward to look down.

In a game full of characters who are restrained emotionally, I always appreciated that Barrett had powerful emotions and said what he felt. It might be problematic to some degree but he felt blue collar to me, not stereotypical.

That’s one of the things I like the most about it. Much of Civ V was just going through the motions. Now when there’s 2 opposing Civs right next to you they often have opposing views meaning you’re going to offend one of them no matter what you do.
