...say, you’ve had a stressful day and can’t read your favorite sports blog because it’s been destroyed from the inside out.

THIS is the post that should exist for ‘playing high.’ Doesn’t matter the strain: it all keys me down from an eleven to a three. No fancy lights or crazy hallucinations. Feels like someone is just ever so slightly putting a finger down on the vinyl record that is my life, slowing it from the 45rpm that is my usual

The first good video game?

Splinterrip.kinja.com is the place to start.

Oh, I’m pretty sure at this point that’s what we’re shooting for.  It’s been a good run, but Deadspin is gone (from an Editorial point of view) and I’m sure Kotaku is poised to lose some of their talented folks as well, whether in solidarity with Deadspin and the GMG Union or just to the natural effects of Spanfeller

With everything that has been going on since the fall of Gawker, the uncertainty of ownership and employment, and now with G/O and Spanfucker, it has had me thinking for some time.

It’s stuff like this that reminds my why I’ll be right here at Kotaku until the lights go out.

Go not gentle into that good night, folks—we’ll be here with you all the way.

...even the assholes who will invariably scream “don’t drag Kotaku into this mess,” not realizing that y’all are owned by the same VC company, and
