When do you think the game will ask you to change discs?

Maybe they did predict it, and they tried to test it by running a simulation.

I’m actually trying to think of any cases where a game has been removed, even from people who already owned it.

This decision cuts that option out entirely. As it stands the only way to buy and play Alan Wake 2 will be to, in effect, purchase a very expensive license to rent the game long-term, on platforms that need to be supported with an online infrastructure, and which can revoke that license (or have it revoked) at any

I have a preference for physical copies, but I have to admit their time is coming to an end. It’s inevitable that consoles will go digital only. I strongly suspect PS5 will be the last PlayStation with a disc drive

PS5 discs can store twice as much data as PS4 discs, so hopefully not necessary. Although as we’ve seen, some PS5 games are still too big to fit on one.

Using it for concept art could be really useful. Artists often use vision boards, which they fill with images they find on the Internet which they use for inspiration. Now they can get an AI to generate those images with more or less exactly what they’re thinking of, rather than finding existing images which are close

I’m increasingly not a fan of the monarchy, and I’m definitely not a fan of the Tories, but I have to say that Penny Mordaunt was rocking that sword.

I think this is pretty cool as a proof of concept.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen that Saddlesore episode. Ok, I haven’t seen a lot of these episodes, but most of them are newer. I thought I’d seen every episode up to series 12 or so. Maybe it’s just so bad I blocked it from my memory.

Thanks for the spoiler. I would have found this to be an interesting surprise for a character that has so far not shown any particular romantic interest in anyone.

I think it’s pretty hilarious that you can trick an AI into doing things just by telling it to pretend to be someone else.

Now they just need to make crafting automatic too. Instead of having to go into the menu to craft arrows every few minutes while in combat, just do it automatically when you run out.

I know, my comment was meant to be tongue in cheek. I guess that wasn’t very obvious though.

I thought that making it PS5 exclusive means they don’t need wall cracks?

That’s where maching learning could be really useful. It could be used to generate dialog that does react to the world and what the player is doing. Instead of the developers having to plan out and explicitly write dialog for a finite set of situations.

When did this game come out exactly? When was that particular part of the game made? You say are British people still grieving after 6 months, but was it actually after 6 months, or did it just take that long for you to find out about it?

It’s crazy how every single 3DS game on the store (1547 of them) takes up about the same amount of storage space as 3 or so PS5 games.

But then they wouldn’t have got paid by Sony for exclusivity. Considering how poorly the game was received they probably got more money from that than they would have got from selling it on Xbox.

As someone who has never played this game, I didn’t realise it even had male characters.
