I don’t remember that but my memory isn’t so great either. My mall also had a Babbage’s which I frequented and Software Etc. which I thought was overpriced. Of course, KB was in there and Sears had games, and there was a Toys “R” Us across the street from the mall so I did visit many stores in that spot. At one time

I recently scanned a 1992 Electronics Boutique holiday catalog and it did have quite a few expensive games, even some computer games for $79.99 (flight sim add-on and The 7th Guest CD-ROM). SimEarth and Final Fantasy II on SNES were $69.99 and Street Fighter II was $74.99, and some Genesis games were $64.99+ (Streets

As others have stated, Sega isn’t exactly small. Not sure why people in Japan would think Sega is predominantly Sonic. Perhaps if one only views it as a console game publisher/developer it looks minor but there is more to it. Of course, it is part of Sammy which is currently known as Sega Sammy Holdings and overall

You missed Zordix AB which isn’t surprising as I doubt many know that company but it did acquire three game publishers in 2021, mostly mid-sized companies that release physical editions of indie games and other smaller scale titles for the most part. In November it purchased Maximum Games, in May it got Merge Games,

A sequel to Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode released on the NES in 1990 but it’s not obvious since Golgo 13 isn’t in the title, at least not in North America. The original title is Golgo 13: The Riddle of Icarus but in the U.S. it was changed to The Mafat Conspiracy.

I’ve got a stack of the C64 diskettes though I’m not sure they all work. I also didn’t receive them new, just inherited them with the computer around 1987. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo as I dumped them on the floor and the lighting isn’t great in this room.

Although neither the press release nor the GI article mention PC, for some reason it is in the headline of that linked article. If anyone cares, Sega told IGN there are currently no plans for PC:

This is unrelated to PS5 and won’t help you but I’ll post a FedEx story from last September that shows what can happen to a box. Many other replies to you seem to think a driver is responsible but sometimes it is computer error. I doubt delivery drivers steal them often, more likely they deliver to the wrong place due

Okay, so I can’t get the gate open then. I’m must have just been blind to the entrance as I did look around on foot and with the bird.

Ubisoft sends emails about the games I play, and I believe there is usually a summary one when I finish a game. It must have been a subscription setting in Uplay which is now Ubisoft Connect.

Maybe that cave ghost solution is simple and I just couldn’t see it. I gave him money a couple times and looked around for an

If you weren’t smooching another man’s wife you probably could have cut five minutes off your total play time! (Seriously though, I chose Petra myself and didn’t think it right to cheat on her or anger Sigmund which I now realize it wouldn’t have.)

Most of the time I think the oil jars were nearby but they still drove me nuts. Plus, one time I went to the closest town because I couldn’t find one in the area and then couldn’t locate one around town either. Much later I did find one in that town and hauled it over 400m on foot. That was probably dumb just to get

I stupidly misread the topic so now I need to delete my comment though I don’t know how. Maybe if I think about this I can come up with some. The worst game I’ve played this year also has a dumb title but it’s based on a license which may have something to do with it: L.O.L. Surprise! Remix: We Rule the World.

Now playing

Added a link for the above comment. I was on my work computer earlier and can’t find my own YouTube channel without being logged in :/ This is the first battle which is a tutorial where the character asks where her clothes went.

Actually, I believe all the characters lose their clothing when inside the robots. I played the first hour and during the tutorial the female is alarmed that she is naked while piloting. I don’t think they physically remove their clothes, they just sort of teleport in and the clothes disappear I guess.

If pre-orders mean anything it’s going to sell far more than that. Back in January Intellivision Entertainment did a pre-order of its limited Founder’s Edition which sold out in five hours. That was 2,600 units and required a $100 deposit. It also received more than 10,000 pre-orders on a VIP edition in a matter of

While I see how they can break easily, most of my Sega CD and Saturn cases have held up though I don’t own a lot of games, maybe around a dozen per platform. None have ever shattered but a few cover tabs did snap off. I did just check the manuals and they are warping which I hadn’t really thought of as I don’t play or

I only have a couple tall PlayStation cases though neither looks like those. I’ve got NBA Jam T.E. in a case that looks identical to a Sega CD one and then I’ve got A-Train in a case that’s the same size but it’s all cardboard.

The article only mentions Japan but it did release on the same day in the U.S. eShop and is now gone there too. This game released on iOS and Android last August as well, though I’ve no idea if it has the same music.
