Really wish you and everyone else would stop saying “this particular EV from x-forbidden fruit brand should come to the US.” Because if they ever did come all they’d see is market for their EVs and that’s all they’d give to us. You should be saying “bring Dacia to the states.”

Just look for the guy who hops everywhere.

First of all, what’s a car like this doing in “Cedar Bluff, Alabama”?

I used it on a rental in Scotland last year. It caused more problems than my manually turning the brights on an off by hand.

but there’s no way President Biden would nominate a soulless ghoul backed by both the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society

This is the best answer to the “big truck crisis”. Vehicles that are either bought for a business, taxed as such, used as such, or over certain weight should require CDLs & relevant insurance. I’d even say that should apply to vans, and the top end of SUVs.

We’d see the demand for these vehicles drop significantly.

That Chevy should require a CDL to operate.

There are some weird things here…

No way. How could this be.

If possible, you want to use a smaller wheel with the same outer diameter of tire rather than using a lower profile tire on the over-sized factory wheel. As low profile tires results in more damage to the rims as well as much more suspension wear & tear...

Forget the slideshows, does anyone remember when this site used to do original reporting? This is reporting on someone else’s reporting, as is the OEM tire story, which is based on a video and was already reported on by The Drive, and probably touched on by the other automotive blogs that all serve the same audience

It’s engineered to benefit the vehicle manufacturer most, not the final consumer. Like you implied, many of the goals of the manufacturer directly are bad for the consumer.

Everything is too expensive, late stage capitalism sucks, and I am sick of being punished for wanting own some kind of asset. We don’t need subscription access to EVs or four wheel steering. We need a basic, affordable, economical option that’s reliable, easy to maintain, and can still manage to put a smile on our

I disagree with most of Brad’s opinions, but I am still entertained none the less.

Jalopnik writing staff has really fallen off over the years.

The thing america needs right now is a revival of the mini-truck.

You are an absolutely insufferable Porsche purist zealot, and your opinion is wrong, like all opinions of Porsche purist zealots.

The price is tempting—especially when compared to how exorbitant regular cars are nowadays. But it is pushing 30 years old and if one thing goes wrong, you are completely boned for how much it’ll cost you. The Bentley cachet doesn’t go far with me.

Somehow I never realized this was Snoop Dogg’s brand. I completely missed the ‘Broadus Foods’ logo, and so many cereal names are pointless, so I just never made the connection. I honestly thought it was one of those generic brands that sometimes come in bags.

Snoop and Master P didn’t want the cereal marked up to $10. They’re accusing Wal-Mart of doing that to supress sales. So I guess in a way you are right.
