Comedians will always protect each other. We all saw how reluctant anyone in that industry was to condemn Louis C.K. when he admitted to what he did, and how long other comedians knew what Chris D’Elia was up to and said nothing.

Mad Men frequently acknowledged the way women who look like Christina Hendricks are sexualized and harassed by men. Her arc in the show ends with her leaving McCann because she can’t get anyone to take her seriously because of her gender and her looks. She walks away with millions and starts her own business.

Lots of Americans think that being told to wear a mask in Costco is a violation of their First Amendment rights, so I’ll let Prince Harry off the hook.

I will never forget the way she delivers the line in The Special Relationship, when Tony Blair asks if she would leave him if he put them in a Lewinsky-esque scandal, and she replies, “No, but I’d make your life hell.” Beautiful, kinda heartbreaking and hilarious all at once.

Helen McCrory was so great in so many things, but honestly my favorite of hers was her performance(s) as Cherie Blair in The Queen and The Special Relationship. She did such a great job of subtly conveying exactly who Cherie is, the nature of her relationship to Tony and her feelings about world events with just a

There are more Biden voters in Texas than New York. I live in San Antonio and almost everyone I know is a democrat. Most of my friends campaigned for Beto. We all know the chances are slim but we’re gonna fight for it.

I really liked him in this, too. He looks like he’s having a blast.

I live in San Antonio. I own lots of winter clothes and so does everyone I know. Texas gets cold every year. This is on the power company.

It reminds me of all the celebrities who came out in support of Ellen when she was being criticized for the toxic workplace on her show. It’s like: sit down, you are a famous person, not a production assistant with no clout--of course she’s nice to you. I feel the same way about people who defend Allen: you’re an

I did think it was a little odd that Mia was having trouble conceiving with Allen and then got pregnant out of nowhere. I know that can happen, but I actually chuckled at that part of the episode because I thought, “I guess she ran into Sinatra.”

“Taking all this into consideration, it is my solemn duty as an active member of the Latine Delegation to alert Ms. Ponsetta that her card has been revoked effective immediately, and she will not be affiliated with this team during 2021's upcoming racial draft.”

Every time I read stories like this I feel so much outrage for the way Meghan has been treated and then I’m just overwhelmed by sorrow for her that her dad is such a cretin and cares more about public attention than his daughter. I hope she’s much happier with Harry and Archie in the U.S.

The fact that Weekend Update’s only joke about that atrocious WSJ op-ed was to joke for the millionth time that Joe Biden is old is a sign this show needs some new writers.

I grew up with these and always felt bad for my friends because they’d never heard of them. They’re the best cookies!

I apologize! I had no idea. I thought for the longest time her last show was in Houston. Must be because I live in Texas—we tend to take credit for everything :)

I don’t think that’s right. Her final concert was the Astrodome, which was in February 1995 and she died a month later. The shows pegs them in Chicago in 1994.

I did not make it far into this series. I thought it was weird that it started in Chicago, as if they knew they couldn’t start it with her concert at the Astrodome (which would show her at the arguable peak of her career and performing in her home state), because the Selena film had already done that.

This restaurant is a mile from my house and I drive past it almost every day. What a nice reminder to never, ever give them by business!

I kind of felt bad for Laura. She seemed really stressed and plagued by self-doubt. It seems like she was getting through based on her flavors because the judges assumed Hermine would keep knocking it out of the park and end up in the final. I’m sure she makes absolutely beautiful things with a little more time.

I have to say I don’t think Diana’s speech to Elizabeth and Philip was just about wanting to be queen one day. What she does afterward indicated to me that she was trying to put her best foot forward and fix things between them—she ends things with Hewitt, makes sure the staff don’t put his calls through and tries to
