@Dented: Yeah, there is a Dutch version, but I presume it's in Dutch, not English, and remakes generally work better than a translations.

I don't think Misfits could be remade as American. A lot of the great aspects of the show either wouldn't translate well, or couldn't even be shown on American television.

I have an 80 GB, backwards compatible (software emulation) PS3, with a couple problems.

@tacotime: One beer when I was around 15 or 16, and actually drunk in first year of university, just before I was 18. (Drinking age is 19.)

I've lived in Ontario all my life, and have been driving for a little under 5 years. It amazes me how so many people up here still don't know how to drive in the winter.

@a.seivewright: They definitely had the advertisement ready before that article was posted. It looked like it was shot as an advertisement, and it's doubtful that any of that footage will be used in an actual episode.

@Chance: Well, obviously it was too long for you and you didn't read it, because you're completely wrong.

I'm not up to date on the original series, but at least since the Eccleston Doctor, he's been fairly decent at controlling the TARDIS. There's been one or two mishaps, but for the most part it has gone where he wants it to go.

In Canada, gift cards don't expire. They are supposed to be treated the same as cash (at that particular store).

@Clixx13: You might want to check again. Most of Europe (except UK), Canada, China (except HK), and pretty much everywhere drives on the right. It's pretty much only British colonies that drive on the left.

@citabria30: LEDs must go in a certain direction because they are diodes. By definition, a diode is a device that allows current to flow in only one direction.

@ProudGeek: I have no problem with marriage, but I think there's a lot of people who get married because they think they need to. They need to realize that there's no problem with not being married either.

Personally, I didn't like Tron Legacy. It looked pretty, but the whole 3D thing didn't really add much for me. It was a nice touch, though, that the "real" world was 2D and the computer world was 3D.

@DeadCowboy: At least with The Beatles, it's because that is how they were originally mixed, and how they wanted their songs to sound. They were not present for the stereo mixes.

Looks like Community was right...

@linuxpirates: It's not so much their laws. It's more the fact that 5 inches of snow is a ridiculously large amount for London, and they have no idea what to do.

@Jackstick: Where our internet is terrible all over.

That was good, but I prefer his reading of Where's Waldo.

@mkirkland: I don't think that's even the question. They will want to use as much as possible. But some gamma radiation will still leak through. The question is whether or not humans will survive long enough to complete the 3+ year mission.
