@dufus: Well, your example used firing as the punishment for withholding the passwords. But when he's withholding the passwords because he was fired, that doesn't give you much bargaining power.

So it "drifted out to sea", or it was "returned to the sea"?

@Roklimber: This was an example in one of my first year physics textbooks. The TA couldn't tell me why it worked like that.

@CarbonatedFalcon: Jo/Carter would never work, and I really hope that's not where it's going.

@DoctorZoidberg: Honestly, I'm not entirely sure that movement is a requirement. He might prefer it, but I doubt he'd say no.

@Teh Dokter!: I watched FlashForward, and kinda enjoyed the second half. I'd watch it again if it came back, but I'm not upset (or surprised) that it was canceled.

I'm unfamiliar with California/United States law, but if a same-sex couple were to be legally married, say, in Canada, would their marriage still be recognized in California and other states?

@cormic: For me, technically, the primary monitor is the left one (the big "1" is on the screen), but the taskbar, and my main work goes on the right monitor. That makes the left-aligned websites and code show up more to the centre of the two monitors.

@dufus: IIRC, the problem all started when he thought he was going to be fired.

So it knows the 8 people I have on google chat. It also has 59 secondary connections through a single contact, all of which are Flickr users, and probably don't even know him.

I already use YouTube to supplement (or, in the case of a few professors, completely replace) my lectures.

I like how you've included the temperature units, instead of simply saying "degrees". I hope this continues in the future articles.

@VicVinegar: You probably need to go to bed earlier. The amount of sleep is pretty specific to the person, and more important for getting into the rhythm than the time when you wake up.

I'm free, I'm free! Hm... I'm pretty hungry, maybe I should stop and grab a snack.

@vanillakokakola: If it wasn't also for employers/internships/research positions, I'd suggest dropbox or google docs.

I used to (try to) sleep for 8 hours a night, if I woke up earlier, I'd stay in bed, but I found I was always tired and lethargic when I got out of bed. Then, I started getting out of bed when I woke up, and it turns out that 7 hours is perfect for me. I'm more awake and energetic when I get out of bed, plus I get

@Mr.Gawn: I've never used Wordpress, so I'm not sure if you can do this, but when I designed my website, I sketched it by hand on a piece of paper. Just to get a rough idea of what I wanted. Then, I just wrote the code.

@Prairie Moon: Assuming the microwave isn't slowed down by the weight of the mug, the period of rotation is the same regardless of where you place you mug.

@dragonskin: I've been rereading some of my favourite books, since I don't have too much time to read, and sometimes I might not read for a few weeks. So, by reading something I've already read, I can remember what's happened up to that point, and I don't get confused by forgetting something.

@Zinger314: You could have a setting that specifies mature content, and those posts don't go to the front page, if you're worried about porn. Of course, this doesn't stop trolls, but I doubt that there will be anybody trolling your website, unless you start advertising on 4chan or something.
