@teh1andonlym0: ThumbDrive is actually a brand name for USB flash drives. Also, pic probably isn't related to the ThumbDrive brand.

It seems like they've raised the price since you posted this (maybe even because you posted it), but it's $20 now.

@Grewal: It's clearly an arts class. I'd hope CS people have more dignity than that.

@Johann Schmidt: I don't know anything about that particular model, but I'd expect all video cards to support audio over HDMI, since that's the only difference between HDMI and DVI. Of course, what people expect based on standards, and what companies actually do, are often two very different things.

@skittlzncombos: Does VLC not have a playlist shuffle function? To my knowledge, most media players do. Just add all the videos to the playlist and put it on shuffle. Then, when you finish one, it'll start the next, randomly selected, video.

@GeicoCaveman: Agreed. I moved into an apartment with electric burners about 2 months ago, and for the first month (and even now occasionally), I overcooked almost everything, and I had no idea why.

@AD: I'm not American (and I'm assuming you are), but I believe knife laws vary by state. Also, whether a machete is classified as a knife or a sword might also vary by state.

Hello fellow Lifehacker musicians! I've recently begun transcribing/arranging songs for piano, based off of the studio recordings.

@AD: This isn't specific to Jamaica, but in general, knives and other things are fine, as long as their legal in the destination country, and packed in your checked baggage (obviously).

@naturewill: Canada's a pretty big place...

@penarestel: Depending on what type of music you want to play, knowing how to read music may not help you.

@CoDRoX: Google was purposely collecting SSIDs and MAC addresses of open wi-fi networks. As far as I know, that in itself is not illegal, and I'm sure their lawyers made sure of that too.
