THIS. Spend a couple million on fun and then just put the remaining 90%+ into a savings account. Even with a crummy rate of return that’s not going to beat inflation, the interest will generate enough money annually for most people to comfortably live off the rest of their life. It seems like a no brainer.

I have a very simple way to end with a net positive at craps or at least minimize your losses. It requires though that you consider the money you start with as the cost of the entertainment you’re about to enjoy (consequently, I rarely start with more than a couple hundred).
