The idea of strategist momentum is smart, its what IndyCar already tries to do but in a different way.
Good points. After all the tension from the rule changes off season, I think everyone can breath just a little with a great start to 2017 like this.
Can’t wait for another great year of Stef Schrader badmouthing every racing series but F1.
The new NXS is “awesome” I guess. Numbers are strong and it looks sporty...but its felt like a let-down from the get go. So much love for the old model and so much hype for the new one. The reveal of it felt pretty “meh.”
Is it streaming or downloads? Trying to find the best free movie download site to get onto my iPad.
Where did the “stoop so low” comment come from? Instead of insulting North American Open-Wheel he actually said he was a fan of it.
Not sure what you mean.
The need for downforce is an equation. With a wing, the benefit of handling better around a corner better outweigh your slower speed through the air caused by the drag of the wing.
I see your point, I still feel skeptical. Without the wing, I bet the mechanical grip of the car is great and makes for a great handling ride. With the wing, even if it does make downforce that doesn’t mean its good for the car’s handling, and theres no way that the drag made by it is supplemented by enough added aero…
What is Japan’s need to put giant ridiculous wings on the back of their high-performance edition cars? Other manufacturers rightly don’t seem to feel the need to.
Did Honda just try to make a Veneno???
This is a tough situation. Have race cars like Sprint cars, or Late Models seen significant upgrades in safety in recent years?
A little overly-negative on this one Kara...not every op-ed has to have a negative opinion just to write a piece.
“stop making fun of F1 guys, geeze!” You’re a little defensive there about F1, since he clearly wasn’t making a comparison. But I would be too if my favorite racing series was getting more boring every year.
Just throwing it out there, I’m the guy holding the fuel probe in the image up top. Epic day, cool pic.
I absolutly agree. Racing or not, “Road” was one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. I highly, highly, recommend it for everyone.
Perfect list.
Listen, I’m not going to try and rack my brain to offer other examples because the ML is a definite fit for worst car, even though there are many others... I drove this car many many times over at least 6 years, my mother owned one and it was passed along like the village bicycle through the family.
Worst design BMW ever had.
