Probably because the Israeli Palestinian conflict cannot be summarized as rich Israel bad, poor Palestinian good.

Cool. But Israel is wiping out those same Palestinian civillians that you’re feeling so sorry for, not Hamas, under the pretext of wiping out Hamas.
well, thats the dictionary definition of cowardness
I am not pro or anti anybody. But I know enough of the long-term conflict/absolute mess in that area to know two things - no one has the moral high ground here and messing with Israel is like taking a stick to a hornets nest. They don’t play. To be fair I think they’ve little choice in that regard.
Kotaku posted an article yesterday about Palestine, written by Ian Walker, and there was no way for people to comment on it. I don’t know if that was intentional or not, but I thought that was kinda bizarre for the author to post their thoughts on the issue and have no way for people to have a discussion about it.
Hah I did the exact same thing with the start screen. I just closed my eyes and let the nostalgia take over.
You know, something really troubling is how so many people have used Palestine as an excuse to fully pull off their masks and allow their antisemitism breathe right out in the open.
Crosshair and Tech—who also have significantly lightened hair colors
I get the sentiment, but in this case it goes against the very reason for the existence of Dr. Strange, the sorcerer supreme (and the other sorcerers of his order). His, and their, whole point is to protect the earth against magical threats. The fact that he doesn’t even show up, just one state away from his home…
What with all the positive and negative aspects of FatWS, the one that weirdly grated on my nerves the most was Senator Atwood. Marvel has a weird misunderstanding of how US politics works (maybe MCU America is different) - a single Senator isn’t going to be the lead of the Senate Select Committee responsible for the…
There’s an achievement in this game called “The Sheep Whisperer” that you can only get by killing 100 sheep.
Omg This!!! lol. The fact people can just ignore all that blows my mind. All sides in this story believe their ends justify their means. I guess nobody else watching took note of the book zemo was reading in his cell. Its been the theme of the show.
That’s not the point. The point was she was comfortable terrorizing an innocent woman to get what she wanted.
She stopped being “100% in the right” when she murdered people she’d not only beaten who but were tied up!
But of course Karli isn’t that much different from John. She too believes her side is the right one and she doesn’t even consider other points of view. It’s clear in the way she reacts to Sam telling her some see her as supremacist. She can even fathom they may see her a such. It’s the other side that’s evil. She…
Episode four of Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was all about contrasting viewpoints, mainly from two…
Can we ever get past the idea that making a Satan based shoe is “pushing boundaries as far as they will go”? Satan isn’t real. Would making unicorn based shoes be pushing boundaries as far as they will go?
Luckally LuxAlptraum already has a response to that question:
FFXIII’s prelude/opening credits sequence still gives me chills. My favorite single track remains The Gapra Whitewood, though. I remember spending a fair amount of time in game just roaming in circles through a single area so I could listen to this track on loop.
Ironically, if you saw one episode of either of those shows, you saw all of the episodes. I know it’s a different era of TV, and formulaic procedurals still have a place on TV, but those scripts were basically mad libs.
