What’s funny is he makes fun of you specifically in the special. If you watched the entire special (sounds like you didn’t) and came away with, “Dave is transphobic”, then I don’t know what you were watching. I laughed, I cried, I empathized with multiple parties. This was stand-up at its highest level and i pity you

And what a game to lose yourself in, especially back then. One of those games I wish I could wipe my memory of and experience again for the first time. Fuck sleep, Patrick Stewart with his dying breath gave me a VERY important task and I’ll be damned if I’m going to let sleep get in the way. This world ain’t gonna

it’s probably additional to the manga in the same way Brolly was.

It’s doing its own thing. Though they have shown production art and Piccolo and Krillin have their classic manga designs (yellow muscle patches and white eyes respectively) while Pan is apparently going to play a big role.

It almost sounds like it would work better as a series, similar to the expanse (which I think had that plotpoint prior to the series). I think the core concepts for the game might not translate to a movie... in the game it’s a series of combat scenarios interrupted by exposition (I love the franchise, have the long

Bro, this isn’t some “both democrats and republicans suck” kind of shit.

Society though doesn’t really put toys or porn on the same level as a live show, albeit in this case a very mild show. It is just one of those things that makes us odd hypocrites.

“Society and, particularly, the media have gone to great lengths to frame this as a ‘complex conflict’ between Israel and Palestine where both sides are to blame,” they said, “rather than the straightforward ethnic cleansing, settler colonialism, and apartheid it really is.”

I mean...that seems like an equally disingenuous take and overall analogy lol.

I look forward to Erin also stepping down from voicing Chie Satonaka and any other Japanese characters and letting Asian voice actresses have those parts.

I support IGN’s listing of charities for Palestinian casualties. However, I think it’s important to note that Hamas rockets have killed a dozen people in Israel, including two children, and those casualties are also deserving of support. This should have mentioned as well in IGN’s article. Yes, I’m fully aware that

Well, I’m black, and I hate this. I have no problems with diversifying roles for voice actors, but there’s no reason for Erin to give up her role in voicing that character, just like it is okay for Phil LaMarr to voice Aqua Man in the Injustice game. What a lot of weebs (myself included) value is merit, not this

So... questions.

Forgetting the fact they are artificial life forms... Her sister Elphelt is white as a sheet. And all the Valentine’s were biological copies of Aria Hale, who is also white. But hey, whatever I guess.

I can’t imagine video games will experience much of a reckoning — given that presumably the Japanese voice actress of Ramlethal is a Japanese woman — and the overwhelming response to that information would be an ambivalent shrug

Probably because the Israeli Palestinian conflict cannot be summarized as rich Israel bad, poor Palestinian good.

Cool. But Israel is wiping out those same Palestinian civillians that you’re feeling so sorry for, not Hamas, under the pretext of wiping out Hamas.

well, thats the dictionary definition of cowardness

I am not pro or anti anybody. But I know enough of the long-term conflict/absolute mess in that area to know two things - no one has the moral high ground here and messing with Israel is like taking a stick to a hornets nest. They don’t play. To be fair I think they’ve little choice in that regard.

Kotaku posted an article yesterday about Palestine, written by Ian Walker, and there was no way for people to comment on it. I don’t know if that was intentional or not, but I thought that was kinda bizarre for the author to post their thoughts on the issue and have no way for people to have a discussion about it.
