I bought Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA in '87 (I would have been 7 years old, turning 8) right before going on a Cub Scout campout. I loved the album so much, I didn't want to go on the campout. I wanted to stay home and listen to it over and over on my mom's old Panasonic boom box.
