I've been using Professional Master Key for decades. Literally. It came out in 1990 and still does the job, even on larger disks in operating systems more recent than DOS 5.

re: Play Internet Radio Without Banner Ads

@gatsu25: Mainly because it's already there.

@warped2049: Yeah, well, there's also the issue of blood pressure and "caffeine headaches".

"Newspapers to clean windows" belongs with "boiling soapy water to clean pans" on the list of "Who doesn't do this already?"

@mike_311: The only reason I read this article was to see how much NBC bashing there was. Like you, I couldn't care less about "the olympics".

As long as Open Office reads and writes compatible files, I'm happy...but apparently, others are not. Isn't it funny how people are faulting Sun and Open Office when it's Microshaft which is ignoring the Open Document Format standard?

@NotMandatory: My parents are British so I'm used to making tea with boiling water poured onto the bags, and drinking it when it's still over 90°C. The British add milk (half tea, half milk) to cool it because they drink the tea "just made".

Powdered milk might taste fine, but I always felt the reason to add milk to coffee or tea was to cool it a little. How can a powder do that?

Evidently the author of this piece forgot to mention how cookies are misused by some websites.

@Phoshi: Heck, I meant to say IE 8.

I would be impressed if they dropped support for IE 7.

I tested it both with and without an anonymizer. Using an anonymizer has a drastic effect on the results, making me less "unique" (self-correction there).

@arungupta: Obviously you're talking about people who use LookOut being the problem, such as yourself. I don't use it and never have, but I've heard a lot of negative comments from those who did and smartly quit for something better.

@rie。: And how do I separate emails from different people so that only a single one person's emails are visible to me at one time? That can be done with folders.

@infmom: I just remembered another thing that annoys me about "free" web mail: it's all java and javascript now which only works on certain browsers. "Free" email services used to run on CGI/Perl which would work with every browser, even the most primitive. Now sites are deliberately being designed to be unusuable

I've never liked web-based email even though it's all I use now. I'm dependent upon another party to manage my mail with no guarantees of suddenly being locked out without warning, and the annoyance of "filters" that never work. If it weren't for my need to be mobile and my IP not providing an address, I'd still be

If you want your knot to be in the center with a traditional tying, do this: make one of the loose ends about a 3/4 inch longer than the other.

I don't know about anyone else, but I always select "No Sounds" under control panel.
