@1112: I use the Off By One browser for visiting insecure sites, ones which may contain porn, viruses and other unwanted junk. For example, many game "cheat code" sites make their advertising from pop-up porn.

@FaRReR: You obviously didn't read carefully before deciding to post.
I see they're trying to put a little polish on the turd.
Vote: none.
As I mentioned in the other thread, I use:
@playdoh: Most of the ads are annoying but easily ignored.
"Best"? I've not heard anyone using that, and I if had for the first time in certain contexts, I might have assumed it was a threat (i.e. "You had best answer me"). I could never see a good situation or reason to use that.
@czarandy: In atheist circles, this argument is known as part of the "no true scotsman" fallacy (i.e. no true scotsman puts sugar in his porridge). I'm sure people feel the same way about instant oats.
@CGA: And it requires NET Trainwreck. 9_9
It's a good idea, but I grew up listening to whole albums, beginning to end.
An important part of buying a printer is thinking about what you are going to use it for. If you're doing a lot of printing, it's worth investing of a good one both for the cost of ink and for the time it takes to print a page. If you're not printing much, cheap is fine.
@mb: Aversion 7 may be fine for you, but I can't stand the annoying "upgrade messages". Whoever put those in should be shot.
Given how crash-prone is QtWeb (it crashes more than Infernal Exploder), I wouldn't trust arora or anything else build on the same Qt software. If you want small, portable and reliable, stick with K-meleon, which is based on Mozilla.
The writers is putting his own thoughts in the words which can blind the writer to errors because he thinks the words makes sense in the context of the sentences. The best way to avoid that problem is to take the sentences and phrases out of that context. As most people say, have someone else read the words for you,…
I just don't see the appeal of "cloud computing". There is a 100% guarantee that my data and programs will be on my USB Flash RAM, but less than that on someone else's computer. Why take the risk?
@milesabove: Without (again) turning this into a browser debate, the numerous built-in keyboard commands are one of the primary reasons I prefer Opera over other browsers. With the left hand in the normal position and right hand on the mouse, there are literally dozens of editing and navigation functions available…
Similar to what Walter Glenn said, what good is this thing if it can't detect what's in your pantry? It would still require manual updating which could be done as easily with a piece of paper. That program is a Rube Goldberg solution.
@obelix: Mouse highlighting is only superior where small amounts of text are wanted, and even so, it's usually inaccurate as are all mouse-based edits; one usually has to highlight more than is wanted just to be sure nothing is missed. Ctrl-A usually does a better and faster job.
I can't think of a single example or situation where highlighting text with a mouse is going to be quicker and easier than with the keyboard, especially if one is an experienced touch typist. The only time where a mouse cursor isn't prone to placement errors is with an extremely large font (e.g. 24 point). Unless…
@paintbox:As well, speed certainly isn't an issue. It's easy to move around a large document with Ctrl-PgUp/PgDn. or Ctrl-Home/End.
