The bottom image bears a remarkable resemblance to a coronal section of the human brain. Ventricles .. white matter tracts - hell, there's even a frakking corpus callosum! I wonder - was this in purpose or not? If not it may be an amazing example of a relationship between fluid mechanics and brain evolution. Wow!
