I’m about 7 hours into the campaign and absolutely loving the game. The beta ran like garbage for me, but the final game runs smooth at 75+ fps (ryzen 7 2700x and a 5700 xt, running off an nvme drive) @ 3440x1440. I’m progressing slowly, looking for secrets and taking time in each mission, and actually paying

This new layout is atrocious.  Impossible to navigate, just visual vomit and immediately makes me not want to peruse Kotaku anymore.

Nope, story mode is fine, thank you. I get killed enough on story mode and miss more jumps to swinging ropes than I would like. Now get off my lawn.

Gonna love seeing Routh return to the role.  I feel like the powers in charge have really wasted 2 great Superman actors in Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill. Bring back a heroic and optimistic Superman!

So, are we all moving to Greenland or Gibraltar?

I’ll be sad to see it go - I have fond memories of the original and the original New Beetle. Would love to have it stick around, but would trade EVERY New Beetle for an Up! GTI in the US/Canada. Same size and performance as a Mk 1 GTI with all the modern amenities and could be sold for under 20k.

I’d be infinitely more excited for VW to bring the Polo and/or Up lines to North America. The Polo, especially, would be a great competitor to the Fit/Rio/Accent/Fiesta/Sonic, and could play a bit of a premium position. Of course, I just want a Polo or Up GTI.

Now they never invited me to a focus group, but I’m pretty sure Ford has made this for one customer - me. I have a 300C with a Hemi, wife has an Escape Titanium. We want to get down to one car.. This is weirdly right for us.

93 and 94 are pretty widely available in Ottawa, just pricing varies wildly. We have the “joy” of owning an Escape Titanium that requires 93 for the 2.0 turbo.

I believe you’re missing the important question, namely, “What’s the correct number of torques?”

I’m curious as to what you hate. We have a ‘14 Escape as our first-ever SUV, and it’s been alright. The turbo 2 liter is peppy, the car’s decent in city and on highway, and we’ve never had a single mechanical issue in the first 70,000 miles. We’re due for a replacement in a year and a half, so really want to hear what

I will take the top spec GT Limited here in Canada when they come back off 2 year lease returns. Should be 32k CAD out the door, and a helluva car for that money.

Oh man the Taurus Interior is tight. That giant center console is just too much. I actually passed on a Taurus SHO and bought a Chrysler 300 Hemi AWD because of the interior space. Now I may have to ditch the old Chrysler for the Stinger.

The only thing to check would be whether or not you get the US warranty on a Canadian-spec model. But yeah, 11k profit easily made for a 2 hour round trip. Also, Canadian KIA dealerships seem to be a large step above the US dealers - most of them are brand new and in my experience (had a Soul as a runabout a few years

Stinger GT Limited (what the top model is called in Canada) is $49995 CAD, which is 38k USD. Nowhere near 62k. Canada is getting a very aggressive price in this segment. By comparison, the BMW 440i xDrive Gran Coupe (which KIA says is a direct competitor) starts at $58,350, and optioned like the Stinger is $72,259. So

Top model in Canada is under $50k CAD ($39k USD), which means a fully loaded model in Canada is 12k cheaper. Worth a trip across the border?

Give this guy Episode IX!

The 8-speed transmission is the only thing I want for on my 2014 300C AWD - I’ve got the hemi, it’s a big beast on the road that’s roomy enough for taking friends out on the town with, and it’s as comfy as a couch, but the old Merc 5-speed transmission is just plain bad.
