There wasn’t that much sex in the movie if I remember rightly. Cruise was excellent, even though I don’t like him as an actor. Dunst nailed her role, brad Pitt was just a pretty boy. Banderas was fabulous, rea too. I enjoyed the film more than I thought I would and have watched it a few times since.

How are Tara Reade’s allegations credible? She said one year ago that she didn’t even think the issue she had with Biden was sexual harassment, that it was more being disrespected because she was a woman, and now a year later she, what, remembered, that she was not only harassed but sexually assaulted? She can’t…

I think calling for him to withdraw isn’t quite the same as “you can believe me but vote for him.” Perhaps at one point she felt that way, but it is yet another inconsistency that feeds skeptics, of which I am still one.

I think most people are being cautious of her story because it keeps changing. The reports I’ve read have mentioned how she’ll ignore follow up questions or how even the stories of her friends will change to correspond with her changing story. 

It reflects poorly on whoever hired you, Crystal Jewell, young American graduate student from the state of Iowa who claims American democracy is broken and writes grammatically correct English like any educated American.

Reade isn’t going to take a polygraph.  She’s changed her story so many times, it’s clear she isn’t being truthful.  It may be wise for Biden to do so since he should pass easily and conclusively.  It would signal that he’s taking the matter seriously and feels confident that he’ll be cleared.

I don’t truck much with conspiracies, but the fact the GOP went looking into Hunter Biden, that Amash suddently comes into the fold as a third party candidate, that Tara Reade comes forward with a (in my view) justifiable claim albeit brought out when it is most damaging...it just feels like the GOP can’t stop talking…

Yep, if you can’t get radical change right away the next best option is to give up entirely. That makes sense, it’s a lot better than incremental change.

He is denying her accusations. Both of them are calling each other liars. How else do you deny an accusation against you? Your accuser is either mistaken or lying. You and Goldberg essentially have similar positions. Credible but impossible to determine truthfulness at this point.

I’m curious - how else is someone supposed to respond when accused of something they didn’t do, other than essentially call the accuser a liar? (words he did not use)
