I’m a elder Gen X and I would love it if Warren was a front runner. I don’t trust anyone else running AT ALL. I don’t care what any of those dudes say, they’re all problematic AF...and I’ll have to vote for one of them, eventually.

All candidates are “terrible.” It’s politics. And YES the bar IS low. It has to be. If you want to be a purist, I suggest other areas of interest where that quality might be useful. In politics it is not.

What made her so successful is that her sword was righteous. She has a talent for speaking truth to power in a way that is constructive and substantive. She lands a hit without going low. I also appreciated that she stood up for her opponents several times when they were the targets of unfair or just plain stupid…

that’s not how the rules work. If Bernie can’t win the nomination out right, he isn’t going to  be the nominee. It’s on him to expand his base.  Also if he some how is the nominee the oppo research against him will bury him. The dude is not electable.

I think what we saw last night was an opportunity for candidates to take the gloves off. They have been reticent to do so against each other, most especially against Sanders (heaven forbid!!!), but since Bloomberg isn’t really one of them there were no compunctions.
