Hillary was not the only person who could lose to Trump. An entire field of male Republican candidates also lost to Trump. People just like lording it over Hillary because she's a woman and sexist assholes take pleasure in continuing to put her down long afterwards.

I also find it telling that Splinter never ever mentions that Warren created the Consumer Protection Financial Bureau.  Which is a big effing deal.  Sanders had nothing to do with it; so apparently it gets ignored.

Whereas Warren created the Consumer Protection Financial Bureau.  Perhaps one of the greatest pro worker, pro consumer, organization in modern history.  She walks the walk and gets it done.

OMG, are you seriously claiming that Warren doesn’t have plans? And it’s a “DNC conspiracy”?  Lol. It’s fine if you prefer Sanders, but can you do it in a honest way? This is just lame.

Honest question: do you really believe “most citizens are fucking sick of this shit”? What about all the Trump voters? Look around you. We share a nation with people who don’t begin to share our values. And I say “our” values because unlike a lot of self-identified progressives I don’t consider myself in bed with

You mean like on her website, where she says “Elizabeth supports Medicare for All?

In less than a decade on the national stage, Warren has made more allies and gotten more legislation passed than Bernie has in his entire career.  We’re electing a president, not a god-emperor - an ability to marshal support is *vital* in actually getting things done.

Starred for this section.

I’m old and remember being a big Sanders fan back in the 90s, when he was an unknown independent Congressman pushing debates to the left. He was great. But he was not an author of legislation that got passed, and he was not a builder of coalitions. And most importantly, he was not a leader of movements. And he’s still

This. She’s a sharpened instrument. Bernie is simply the blunt-force weapon, Liz is the sharpened katana blade.

Tlaib and Pressley were first elected to office over a decade ago and Omar’s been involved in politics locally since 2012, but sure, we can give someone else entirely all the credit for their careers, why not.

I was a tepid supporter of Bernie in 2016, but not today. I’ll tell you the difference between Bernie and Warren: Warren has a well constructed platform of interwoven policies and plans for the future. The talking points they both spout are similar, but Warren has done the groundwork and the math.

A run on sentence from hell.

I am enjoying the irony of Bernie supporters basically saying “it’s his turn” because of his success in the previous election.

Are we still pretending that Bernie Sanders counts as an “upper echelon” type of candidate? Dude has a better chance of finishing fifth than he has of finishing first. Right now, it’s Warren or Biden, but the people at the tier below (not including Sanders) have a better chance than Sanders has.

I feel like Beto knows he isn’t going to get the nomination, so he’s using his time in the spotlight to highlight the issue and make the other candidates weigh in on it. Not sure how well it’ll pay off, but I’ve yet to meet someone in person that owns an assault rifle type weapon or thinks average citizens should own

Nothing says “liberal radical” quite like “We would prefer not to be massacred by white supremacists.”

I would donate my entire 401(k) to Elizabeth Warren if she said, during a debate, “Well, my plan is ______, but you know, mushroom dick over here, he...”
