The inverse scenario would break the internet. No doublethink to see here.

Quick, someone find the Gizmodo-hosted video of some guy (who identifies as a guy) talking about what femininity means in 2018 (or any other time in human history).
Correct, they’ve used it a few times. The idea behind Belter signs is that they are easier to do in a space suit with no comms, trying to work out how raising a middle finger would be harder
“Take that Cancellation Missile!”
*head splashes onto windscreen*
Wes Chatham rightly gets a lot of acclaim for his portrayal of Amos but I think Cas Anvar’s Alex is just as good.
i thought it was clever how the camera dude kept laying it on thick — it’s an old con. creepy guy does a bump and grope, and the mark is so awkwardly put off that he just wants to get away instead of noticing that you just picked his wallet. except in this case, it’s lingering in places where he shouldn’t be, under…
I think that’s actually the “Belter Bird” so to speak. She’s flipping someone off.
I love the Behemoth bridge and that they didn’t have time to remove or cover over all of the religious iconography. I am wondering when or if we’re going to see the inside of the drum.
“Doors and corners, corners and doors.”
The beauty of The Expanse is that it seamlessly weds the aesthetics of a high octane space opera with the weirdness of Tarkovsky, Kubrick, and early Ridley Scott.
This show takes physics seriously. You accelerate up to speed, drift, then have to turn around and decelerate with a burn to slow down/stop.
There are no breaks in space - nothing to drag or create friction. So you push towards your target, then turn around and push back against your target until you slow down enough. They call it ‘flip and burn’ and usually you flip at about the halfway point.
While I enjoy and admire The Expanse’s ongoing interest in the politics of a solar system divided into three main factions, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that what I’m really here for is the weird shit. And there is some absolutely marvelous weird shit here.
I’m guessing the ships you’re thinking of have flipped around and are doing a deceleration burn at the time.
The roci outracing that missile into the slow zone is an allegory to the show surviving long enough for Amazon to pick it up.
Rudy Giuliani isn’t just a career politician, he’s Trump’s lawyer, so no I don’t take much stock on what he has to…
What a white-knuckle ride of an episode!
You are absolutely right- I was so mad when it faded to black, but those extra few seconds after made it okay. I can’t wait for Amos to start breaking things off that cameraman, and I have to think Anna is going to remember how nervous Melba was acting right before the bomb went off.
Yet again, this fucking show.
