Youâre very welcome. I wish there was more I could do to help. Know that thereâs a stranger on the Internet wishing you the best. [HUGS]
Sorry to hear about your mom. My sister is a somewhat renowned and well-respected cancer epidemiologist who frequently subcontracts for the government to inspect different cancer research facilities, etc. Both my parents passed from cancer, and my sister has had her bouts with breast cancer. The one thing sheâŚ
As a gay man (who is not the least bit âflamboyantâ) itâs not always a pejorative; sometimes we use it to describe specific behaviors or personality traits â think of it as âshorthand.â
Barbara hated the Orange Orangutan, and the âpublicâ excuse for him not attending was that it was out of consideration for the family because of all the extra security it would require â as if having the other former Presidents there would make it any different.
Congratulations!
Take the time to talk to your doctor about this. A lot of people, mistakenly, feel like anti-depressants are supposed to make you happy again. They donât, for the most part. My psychiatrist and I have the discussion every six months when I go in for a med check about increasing my dosage because I still have symptomsâŚ
Thereâs no reason you need to. However, as a married gay man, let me say that there are times when I wish weâd chosen one of our names to use as a couple because every time I have to do something even remotely-legal for my husband, or us as a couple, I get âthe lookâ when I say weâre married.
Sheâs adorable (and Iâm not much of a âkid person.â)! Congratulations!
The bigger issue, I feel, with Dem voters is they cannot see past the ends of their noses (i.e. they wonât support a candidate who doesnât check all their personal boxes when it comes to the issues). Blue voters need to understand that making sure the GOP is not in control is more important than their personal issuesâŚ
Itâs going to be an uphill battle for Democrats until we can get fair redistricting. I kinda feel like thatâs the bigger problem at this point since it requires control of the state houses â unless we can get SCOTUS to tackle the issue once-and-for-all.
I think she left all of that at home.
CNNâs been doing a very interesting and thorough documentary series on the Kennedyâs. If you havenât seen it, you should check it out.
No, you are not. My husband and I are both over her stuck-up attitude and general nastiness. I can already hear her bitching about Eurekaâs win and next weekâs episode is still six days away.
New York is a one-party-consent state, so yes, itâs legal.
No, no, no, this is a Good Thing (TM).
Please donât be mad at all us older, white voters. Iâve voted blue my whole life.
