She was a public defender. You have to defend your client whether they're innocent or not (most are guilty, btw). It's your job. Don't want the job, don't be a lawyer. Defending your client, the guy on trial, means relaying to the jury your guy is "not guilty" if he/she pleas "not guilty". The only way to do that is
