More specifically, it’s called ‘crime of passion’, and in Europe has traditionally been treated leniently; the Middle Eastern legal codes the nazi here is referring to directly took their stance on ‘honour crimes’ from Article 324 of the Napoleonic Code, which was only repealed in France in 1979 (having been copied

and even that his life “would be much easier” as a Republican, he inexplicably claimed, “I don’t think the Rs would be any more happier [sic] with me than the Ds right now.”

I hate Kavanaugh. He’s a smug slimeball. But having said that, so what? A longtime friend wanted to support his friend, throw a party for friends.  Is it illegal to have Republican friends now?  Despite NOT having the same views, I have a few Con friends.  Should I go jump off a bridge now?  I think I’d have a real

They are demanding things first, he didn’t seek demands from them to start. Also I don’t see then trans community at large attempting to compromise at all with him, so does he owe them anything? I imagine it’s strategic, so he doesn’t get lured into gotcha moments on their terms.  He probably realizes there isn’t

I stand by what I said. And please don’t ever listen to old comedy from George Carlin, Lenny, Bruce, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy .... Just don’t.

Yes, maybe he did screw up the apology, but I hope he stands his ground on this issue. Comedians have the right to free speech, and they are equal opportunity offenders to everybody. I am straight and I heard things that offended me, but it didn’t trigger me to lead an insurrection against him. Everyone (who doesn’t

Wait, is Jonah married because if not 100% Sharon Stone is up in his DMs right now. 100%.

“Don’t comment on my body” doesn’t count if Sharon Stone wants said body. I’m sorry, it’s Sharon Stone.

EDIT: I looked it up. He single. They probably will laugh about this controversy together naked soon.

he prefaced saying he’s not saying trans women aren’t women. If you look at his whole schpiel, he’s intentionally being offensive saying there’s more public outrage over negative language about the LGTB+ community while a lack of similar passion for the black community. Case in point: all this commentary over his

Thanks for writing this out.

What’s funny is he makes fun of you specifically in the special. If you watched the entire special (sounds like you didn’t) and came away with, “Dave is transphobic”, then I don’t know what you were watching. I laughed, I cried, I empathized with multiple parties. This was stand-up at its highest level and i pity you

im not defending any ideals or anything here but im not so sure such things are quite the same in japan, the past (or certainly as far as world history goes) is seemingly just that and in many cases something not taken all that seriously from my experience.

I’m black. I’ve laughed at white people making jokes at the expense of black people. I’ve laughed at white comedians who have used the n-word.  I’ve laughed at blackface.  None of that means those things aren’t offensive, or that they are okay.  Our experiences are not universal.

With regards to question 1, it’s a real mystery why people might be OK with Dave making jokes about Black folks but might not extend that same permissiveness to jokes about LGBT people. Maybe there’s something inherent in Mr. Chappelle that could explain it? On that note, how do you feel about white people using the

Eh, I have complicated feelings regarding Chappelle. I think he’s hilarious. I watched his last Netflix special and (as a gay guy) genuinely enjoyed his bit about the “LGBT car ride.” It’s fine that he makes fun of “the alphabet people” — because the whole thing can at times BE silly. I don’t mind being made fun of

I have no problem taking the concerns of the LGBT community at face value. These are real issues. With that said, a few questions.

The funniest joke in The Closer was when he got genuinely emotional about Kevin Hart not getting to host the Oscars because people.. are mean?!

If only people watched the whole thing instead of snippets and listen to the commentary on what they are supposed to think.

That’s only if there’s evidence of things like corporate espionage. Because at that point you’re intentionally making an effort to steal individually.

When something like this happens, it’s a lot harder to argue somebody stole specifically from the party that got leaked, because now the entire public has free access to

Saying that Twitch streamers who have OnlyFans and promote them are ‘advertising literal porn to minors’ is an attack on sex workers, when they are not doing anything that isn’t also happening on Facebook, Twitter, or other social media sites that people use to promote their brand.

Again you misunderstand. I’m not trying to “make women the villain”. As I noted in my OP, sites like Chaturbate have that “18+” disclaimer. Of course there are minors on those sites, BUT that “18+” buffer gives everyone that works for the site that plausible deniability needed to keep them out of hot water. I believe
