If it keeps me busy and away from the temptations of snacking and such, it will be worth all the work.

Weight : GONE

I will try my best to keep everyone up to date as I work on it. It may be slow going due to budget and time constraints but I have the drive to get it done now that I have reached this goal.

It is not crazy in terms of headroom but it is quite workable. I will not be wearing a helmet in it any time soon unless I drop the seat a bit.

Yup! I do notice an increase in cornering and handling now that I have listened to Mr. Chapman's advice

Thank you for your comments! It was motivation for sure. The colour is just perfect, I love Inka Orange so much

Yup, I can fit inside it, in fact here is a picture of me in the car. The headliner is falling out of it so it looks a little tighter then it actually is.

US residents only. How exciting for those of us who don't live in the US.

Seconded!

You can pick them up cheaper in Japan. I have seen a few around here in Canada as we can import them here now.

Ahh okay, I get you now.. I have seen that colour, quite lovely as well. I hope you can snag your dream machine soon!

It is my first 02. It needs work but it should not be too much. Sadly the injection system was removed for carbs, but luckily I have all the parts from the car so I am going to be reinstalling it.

I am going to try my best to enjoy ;) I too want a Golf as well to add to the list. A MKI or MKII GTI. The trouble is finding one at a decent enough price in good shape that has not been butchered.

I just picked one up this year to work on. A 72 2002tii in Inka Orange very much like that car :) It is gonna be my summer DD (but not twice my age)
