I was at the Montreal Auto Show just a couple weeks ago and the Scion booth was pretty much empty and they had some random DJ playing tracks there to an almost empty display area. 2 sensors inside each door at different heights. when both are submerged under water for longer then a set amount of time, they trigger a small pinpoint hammer in the car door to bust the window. At the same time I can decouple the seat belt to allow it to come free.

Was it a poster queen like the Lamborghini Countach, or was it something interesting you saw in the street, or was it a family member owning that one special car that got your blood boiling?

Owning one for 4 years was a highlight for me. It is an amazing vehicle and did everything I asked of it. I would agree that no one really saw it coming at all, and from the moment I saw the concept I had to have one. Took me till 2011 to get one but I loved every second of ownership.

I just wish manufacturers would do away with “packages” If I want say the sporty interior why am I forced to take the sunroof I don’t want and the “technology package” just to get it adding a couple thousand more to the price adding things I didn’t want just to get the one item I did. I am not asking for a custom car…
