Actually in at least some places like Marin county CA, they've gone from some of the lowest vax rates in the country to very high. Obviously not all of those hippies changed their mind, but it seems like significant numbers did.

I've always liked to say that being ignorant is fine, you can fix ignorance. And stupidity is fine because some people just can't grasp some concepts. Willful ignorance is the unforgivable sin.
I think Gleeson is well known in the US in the sense of "hey I recognize that guy and I like him!" But not someone most people could name.
I actually like those examples, but I can easily see they aren't for everyone.
TBF, artists do occasionally drop something “unwatchable” or “unlistenable” and challenge their audience. Thinking of Aronofsky and “mother!” or early era Aphex Twin here, but you are generally correct.
I mean the entire premise of the show is passing around the Sociopath Ball. The way Domingo hams it up is enough fun that I didn't care about the plot for a while, but I finally got to the point where it's not really worth it.
I find myself having various strains of law & order or Chicago shows on in the background while I'm terminally online. And I will actively bitch about how they are copaganda while I'm doing it!
American Dad somehow kept getting better from season 7 to 13 or so. The last couple seasons are still entertaining as hell but maybe not improvements.
Colman Domingo is the only reason I ever watch "Fear" and it's been getting harder to use that as a justification for several years now.
I liked the the episode with Dee/Alpha, and the second one was at least kind of funny, but yeah I think it's going to wildly vary in quality at best and mostly just suck in all likelihood.
Selling crack probably comes with a lot more physical and legal risk for a lot less money
I’m hazy on my Black Knight lore but I don’t think that one passes down very often. Like basically the sword keeps them from aging so the mantle only really passes when they get killed.
I mean, I am fully aware of how dangerous these things are and wouldn’t trust myself because you only have to fuck up once.
Apparently my mobile adblocker has been doing this for me for years now. Ironically, Deadspin was the site that convinced me to finally install adblockers on all my devices, back when they still had good content but management was trying to monetize every second of eyeball time.
I felt like there was a degrassi joke to be made here, and while you didn't exactly make a joke, this reference is good enough for me to not make the effort.
I’m not saying that it’s wildly hard to find, although I guess my final comment does sound kind of like that.
Basically just via email and IRC and the like at the time. We both had to get to a better place in our lives before we could do that without it periodically devolving into a fight.
The fact that we had been roommates for a long time and kind of co-dependently fed into each other's alcohol problems means that there were absolutely a few confrontations. But we really just both had to get to a better place on our own before we could really resume things.
I honestly like the warhammer 40k approach of “everything is canon and nothing is canon” because in-universe almost everything is told by unreliable narrators who are often either crazy or have specific axes to grind.
Firefly was the evil version of Snakeeyes years before Storm Shadow came along!
