I watch anything with Alia Shawkat in it.

That’s not pretentious. That’s just the truth.

She’s in Captain Marvel.

You can push boundaries and say and do some fucked-up shit, but the audience has to know that you’re self-aware and the intention is, in reality, not to cause offence and instead actually be something else (you’re being ironic, or you’re trying to make people question themselves or whatever).

Can someone explain this to me? I’m not trying to be a wise-ass, it’s honestly a reference I don’t understand. The “Apple Care” thing/sentence just has me confused.

even though he’s having to come from the base, the ball is travelling towards Hosmer, so he’s the right man to run onto it. the fact it got popped up high means he’s watching it from further out and has a better look at where it’s going to come down. how he managed to overrun it by so much is bizarre.

quite why THE FUCK you haven’t pulled this bullshit article is absolutely beyond me.

Carter didn’t really integrate with the MCU. It took a couple of characters who’d appeared there briefly and gave her a show that was its own thing and didn’t impact on anything else. They never even got close to showing Peggy starting up S.H.I.E.L.D. If they’d told a story that ran concurrently with The First Avenger

my point is that it doesn’t even occur to the writer that it could be morning sickness. but it makes total sense, the way that scene is written, that that’s what it is.

“This show has always been the best of all of Marvel’s TV series when it comes to integrating the MCU”.

“True, she vomits immediately upon learning she’s Deke’s grandmother, but that’s not so shocking given the circumstances.”

“Of course, this takes place in England where there that wouldn’t be part of the Constitution, as they don’t have a written one.”

No Grosse Point Blank. At least 3 classic music-accompanied scenes there...
