It’s given a “B-”, but the review doesn’t read like a film that merits that score. I was expecting a paragraph at the end that started “But despite the problems... ” and went on to praise the acting or cinematography or something, but it never came.

I’m Not Here is fantastic, and she’s got some interesting things close to release. I think she's doing pretty well.
So, not The Witch then?
Maika Munroe and Thomas Jane. Means I’m still gonna be watching this...
Grimsby is funny as hell. But I also love Freddie Got Fingered, so what do I know.
so, a Rick and Morty ripoff?
except the facts just don’t bear it out.
there’s no such thing as “evil”. people have logical reasons for why they do horrible things - mental conditioning, mental illness, various types of abuse and more (and often a concoction of many of these things). Trying to understand this can help us dismantle environments where such people develop and thrive.
No Boomer, so it can’t be X-Force.
Zhang Ziyi’s death was neat and well-staged.
i just got round to watching this. it’s easily one of my favourite episodes. it had everything you want from the show, and didn’t even have most of the cast in it. so inventive, and kind of mindblowing. loved it.
there are two books.
i found this episode to be mesmerising.
“The Earth of the Federation is supposed to be a place where war, racism, sexism, poverty and class struggle have been overcome.”
the death withstanding (i was fine with killing that character off, but not the manner of it) i thought this episode was fantastic.
