This statement is more WTF than the article. I'm amused.

I want a notarized statement from Jesus okaying this.
That would require risk. A lot of insecure film productions really hate risk.
Halle Berry could have before 3 xmen movies and one really shitty catwoman flick.
Honestly, with the way medical research and data is presented today, you could probably find tons of evidence to support your beliefs no matter which position you take on any one issue. Data is so easily manipulated.
That is not plus sized. That is fairly close to average. The fact that people believe that is plus size is part of larger issue of only marketing thin women. http://www.mybodygallery.com/ For context.
I'd like some links and facts about this. Saying numbers grabbed from the air doesn't make it true.
That's completely your interpretation of a very vague article, to condemn him because of an interpretation seems like jumping the gun a bit. Being restrained and forced to watch your family die is an awful thing.
It boggles my mind that only the father was arrested.
Are you implying that it wouldn't be as bad if the school didn't have an appropriated mascot?
This is so classy. /sarcasm.
If a Christian girl had added a beaded cross to her hat would've been a more accurate colloquial. If the school had specifically said "NO FEATHERS" then I would agree with definitely. If it's the very common dress code of not changing graduation garb, then I don't know for sure if there's an underlying racial…
Oh I definitely don't think he's appropriating at all, and I'm absolutely positive that the feathers are of a cultural significance to him of which I probably don't understand and I'm glad he got to wear it. The not decorating gradation caps dress code is just super common so I am not able to agree right away it's a…
I get what you're saying definitely, but I think the main thing here is the actual act of changing or adding to the uniform itself, if he'd have worn it on his hair or person I don't think it would be quite the same.
I get her point, I think it's a bit of a reach. Cultural appropriation definitely exists, but unless this school allowed everyone but him to decorate their graduation vestments, I can't say its definitively racism or appropriation.
I am still not ready to agree on whether or not this is a targeted attempt to suppress cultural heritage, as a dress code was delivered to ALL students.
You can't predict racism and then definitively convict those involved of racism. Also, a notice was sent to ALL students it states that they would not allow changing of the garment. And as far as I know, the student in question was allowed to keep his changes anyways… so?
I'm pretty sure if a white student wore an eagle feather + beads at this graduation, also the kid in question is actually a he, it STILL would not be allowed.
Wait what. Did we read the same article?
I'm just jealous I don't have the means or financial ability to have cosmetic surgery. Also I scar like nobodies business so I'll probably end up looking worse.
