All asian(anywoman) women who want curled and dramatic eyelashes, I'd recommend some Shu Uemura eyelash curlers, and bam, mascara wonders. Seriously I never thought I could have lashes till I started using this.

There's always been a disturbing trend in portraying relationships in media, unhealthy, co-dependent and abusive relationships are being seen as deep or romantic or even enviable... Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey jumps into my mind, I just don't... get... it?

I've loved cheese when I was a size 14 and when I was a size 4. Cheese is lovable.

Times like this I'm glad I'm from a culture where it's completely sane and normal to keep your last name. That being said I can't tell if I will keep my last name or not, mostly cause marriage is so not on my radar. Probably will though, cause ego.

I feel like I have to point out that she has a point. I don't like her, I don't like her tone, I will never be as fit as her (and actually don't really care) but almost all the vitriol being thrown at her is coming from a lot of extremely personal projection.

Wait so, if she had said she was proud then this whole thing could have been avoided? Natch. Then everyone would just call her shallow and vain, and probably a slew of other wonderful names.

I forgot to say that I agree.

I would really like people to get to a place where, promoting health =/= fat shaming.

Thanks for replying I really wanted to explain it well and couldn't find the words, I agree with everything here.

I just gotta say, I'm a concept artist in the games and animations industry (female, love mononoke to death) but I HAVE to clarify what this guy meant. Animation in 2D and 3D are EXTREMELY different, both have challenges and risks, both have issues, and some are similar and some are not.

My thing is that Disney, especially with the older films, it's a product of a generation. The social and cultural landscape was different, and there was definitely things that we don't want our children to be exposed to because their outdated ideas that we know now that is not relevant.

For me, it was like mutual save-age, Flynn tried to be the hero, instead sacrificed himself, but Rapunzel, she's the one who saves his life in the end. One character's heroic moment doesn't overshadow's anothers, no matter what gender.

I'd just like to point out that in Tangled, that Rapunzel was the one who ultimately saved Flynn Rider's life, leaving a lot of the arguments in this article a little biased.

Disney falls in the trap of being held responsible for lots of social and cultural failings, like that recent Jezebel article where an exec

I was wavering between work and not too, it's hard to tell, but the geometry matches, the edge of the nose on our left side is slightly over because of the angle of the shot, the slight 3/4 tilt up (and as any artist will tell you, any tilt up automatically widens the nose.)

Please, are double eyelids and wide eyes ONLY in white women? No, it occurs in all races, and it is a pretty COMMON universal standard of beauty to have wider eyes, in ALL races.

People calling out that Dev for being a hypocrite really pisses me off, Halo 4 was a gigantic team, and he probably wasn't even directly responsible with any of the design decisions resulting in Cortana. And for those who say that "Oh well, he contributed by staying," eff that, don't judge someone for having a job.

Many people force their children to be vegetarian as well.

I advocate the diet of eating a moderate amount of whatever I want.
