Perhaps his greatest movie; perhaps her greatest performance.

Honestly, Hannibal made me way more interested in making me try recipes on the edges of good taste (I cooked with blood for the first time thanks to this show). I keep threatening to bring my friends blood pudding or meringue but have a bandage on while I'm serving it.
Heh, I'm now imagining people being repelled by water. Not a tsunami, though. Like an actual glass of water.
This sounds awesome.
Heh. I thought Colbert's final comment was equally about Oliver (who covered for Stewart when the latter directed Rosewater).
Oh, man. And the scene where Andy's mom looks at the empty bedroom? That little gasp/sigh she gives breaks me.
I like Jenna Coleman and Clara. She will probably be my least favourite companion of the new era (the only era I know, fwiw) and I'm not heartbroken or anything that she's gone, but I don't get the vitriol (though looking over her time on the show, she really has very little great episodes).
Holy. Shit.
While Deadwood is probably the alpha and the omega of television dialogue (Doc's plea to God in "Sold under Sin." Wolcott unravelling in "Something Very Expensive.") there is something very beautiful in Hannibal's purple prose. The introduction of the teacup metaphor was remarkably beautiful, the exchange Hannibal…
Hannibal for both.
Can you imagine a Silence of the Lambs story without Hannibal (serious question).
I've been listening to "Love Crime" for two hours. I need help.
Garret Dillahunt on this show would be awesome.
One thing to remember is that Scully is about a decade older than Gillian Anderson - the latter deliberately made herself to look older for the show.
Wow.
Okay, I am super glad I read spoilers, because I would NOT have been able to watch the oral surgery scene without being prepared. And by prepared, I mean, muting it so I didn't hear it because… fuck. Fuckity fuck fuck fuck.
Oh, totally start with Eccleston.

1. Yeah, that set piece was remarkable. The way it was shot, edited and acted was magnificent. The tension was heart-in-mouth strong (especially for someone who isn't familiar with canon).
A History of Violence, Tropical Malady, Wolf Creek, Brokeback Mountain, Munich, Good Night and Good Luck, Match Point, Who's Camus Anyway, Cache, Saraband, Kings and Queen, Brodre, The World, Pulse….
