Terrific movie - perhaps Fassbinder's finest.
The scenes with Oleg were superb. I'm loving how thoroughly he's challenged the dynamics of Arkady, Nina, and even Stan. The final scene with Arkady was so beautifully written and directed. a) I think shifting away from urgent plot matters to character has given the middle part of the season a richness that I love.
