That’s odd--I’ve never had trouble around my sink, and it gets a lot of action. Must just be lucky!

Has anyone really found a backsplash necessary except around a stove? With the countertop lip that is on the back edge of ours, we never had problems with mildew or stains on the drywall. The previous owners must have painted with an easy-to-clean paint but that’s it. (Our stove has a backsplash and that gets filthy.)

It’s more likely that her secret service guards will scan the classroom as she teaches and step in front of her if/when they see anything suspicious. I was on a campus with one of the first children and the secret service truly, truly did not make a big to-do. I’m sure Biden knows the risks, but I do agree with your

Yes, most kids don’t have a dedicated, stay-at-home parent (who is not also working from home). It makes a huge difference. Since all families have different schedules and capabilities to facilitate learning, teachers are hesitant to give out set schedules to their students who are doing asynchronous learning. But

her arms look short?

I want to add that parents seem very intimidated by becoming teachers. Have some confidence. You know a lot more than you think you do. Teaching is a difficult occupation, but tutoring your kids one on one (or one on however many you have) IS 100% something you can do. I started my first job with 85 students and 0

Keep up the math, reading, and writing skills this year. Those are foundational skills that carry over into their other courses, like the sciences and social sciences. Math teachers I know swear by Khan Academy. For grammar skills, check out Quill.org or, better yet, order a grammar workbook and answer key for your

Yes, you are right, and I have seen that play out with a couple of friends. And I also I think you can have some sympathy for the way that a cheater is manipulating someone and still give that person side eye for taking part in an affair.

Being mad at the woman is fine, but I think most of that rage needs to be directed squarely at the ex-husband.

To be fair, there are a lot of these tweets, all deserved. Black Twitter is on it.

I don’t know if you’ve seen the breakdown of NY counties that went for Obama in 2008 vs. counties that went for Trump in 2020, but the change in rural New York is really hard. My county actually went blue in 2008 and it’s not even close this year. I grew up knowing I was surrounded by conservatives and got out of

who are these people?

Fascinating and infuriating! We had a Lives of Saints book growing up and what I remember are stories upon stories of wives and daughters who converted to Christianity and then were killed by the male relatives for it.
