I don’t think the campaign thinks at all about what’s going to fire up the left. They only think about what’s going to please their base. That’s been the Trump team’s strategy all along, and it 100% worked last time. Arresting a woman for wearing an “I Can’t Breathe” t-shirt isn’t something any of this supporters will

That would make for a far more interesting story and probably an angrier tirade.

I love this story. My dad was SO into our sports, too. I didn’t often lose my temper in sports, but one day I absolutely blacked out and just started SCREAMING at the refs who were blatantly making calls in favor of the other team, and they were already ahead of us by like 8 fucking points. My own coaches pulled me

When I went to Italy last November, I only went to Florence and Rome, and I was struck by home much better the food was in Florence. But there’s a chance that I just enjoyed eating more in Florentine restaurants than in busy and rushed Roman ones!

When I was dating my now-spouse, we went to a Chinese restaurant, ordered a TON of food, like, a family-sized amount of food (which was not and is not our standard procedure) and we ate it all. At one point I mentioned, “This should hurt, but it doesn’t.” We also got the flaming scorpion bowl—again, a 4-person

Brearley and Chapin specifically have committed to hiring more teachers of color, making their curriculum more inclusive, and revising their codes of conduct to focus more on acts of racism.

Why would you ever fuck with Eva the Diva?

If he truly were a well-meaning dipshit, he’d paint blue lives matter on one side and black lives matter on the other. He’s not a well-meaning dipshit, though, he’s someone who loves the counter-narrative and whose fans love the counter-narrative.

In the second tweet on her thread about her assault, she writes, “I trusted the holy spirit to keep me safe.” That breaks my heart. She had nowhere else to look for comfort and safety.

I’m with you on this, Hazel. There’s something about the calmly businesslike “Go fuck yourselves. See you all in hell” that really captures my spirit.

What is the message the black squares are sending that you think people don’t know? How do the black squares help more than retweeting a Black person in solidarity, sharing videos of police brutality, or sharing links to bail funds?

laughing at “socialite”

Buy a Black Lives Matter shirt from a white-owned Etsy shop. That’s my personal favorite.

Better yet, do not participate in this trend unless you are in the music industry. This is another movement started by black women, coopted by (mostly) white people, and twisted beyond its original intention into something counterproductive. Do not participate in slacktivism. Amplify/signal boost Black voices. Donate.

That’s a shame--when I looked, most of the top comments with several thousands of likes were critical. What ghouls.

Her channel might have over 700,000 subscribers, but I am glad that the comments on this video are rightfully letting her know the damage she caused Huxley. That said, it’s just a matter of time before they suspend comments on the video.

Being raised by these parents would probably not be in his best interest.

...no, and they didn’t ask. The Daily Mail reported that they might reach out to Trump for security, but that report was false, and they’d already made arrangements with a private security team in the US.

It was an obnoxious thing for him to comment on because they didn’t ask.

Frustrating that he has to come to her defense, but I thought his remarks about her were not terribly supportive. He called her out for her “I’m not a racist” apology. He then said that people shouldn’t make death threats against her. That’s a pretty low standard of defense.
