He might just really enjoy typing Dr. Mrs.

They give up their own personal hatreds/vendettas/arches to focus on the enemies of The Guild as a whole.
You must sacrifice something for the power of running the Guild.
Red Death is the kind of guy who will keep up the pretense of being “retired” so as to sit on the Council, but the moment shit needs done he’ll be murdering fools. With the rest of the Council’s tacit non-acknowledgement for denial plausibility.
I say this episode was a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming for Dr. Z, Action Johnny (c’mon, Cartoon Network, we all know who he’s supposed to be), Sheila, and Dragoon/Red Mantle.
they are bunglers
Son of a bitch, that was uncanny!
staring brian cranston.
Didn’t he wake up next to a prostitute-turned-fly-monster the next morning?
Wow, now I want to know more f the history between Dr.Mrs. The Monarch and her arch-enemy we just met.
He speaks how Frank Miller vaguely remembers every ‘40's detective noir movie he ever watched.
I ould legitimately watch a Red Death spin-off.
Holy crap. I didn’t realize it was lifted from Johnny Quest quite so closely. Awesome, thank you!
Yeah, at the end of that scene all I could think was “wow, Red Death doesn’t mess around!” — especially, later, compared to the other arches.
I’m pretty sure he’s a parody of like every Frank Miller character.
I love the fact that he totally disregarded the carefully-planned “final arch” that Watch and Ward had set up for him, and just went after the most immediate threat. I predict he’ll have a tough time leaving the “hands-on” arching to the non Council members.
This is really distracting, but I don’t think you, Zach, know that Dr. Mrs The Monarch has an actual name, much like Henchman 21 is Gary, and The Monarch is (we now know) Malcolm. Her name is Sheila.
I must say this has been a delightful season. All reasons why I am a fan. 😎
Same here. Brilliant gag.
Holy shit... Red Death’s train track monologue. I mean, of course Clancy Brown made it sound good, but... god, that scene actually managed to give me chills. Perfection.
