It’s interesting that in 2017, the President’s name can now be used in lieu of curse words and racist derogatory remarks. I can’t imagine someone shouting “Buuuush!” or “Cliiinton!” or “Obaaaama!” at an opposing team, in any regard.

Plus, it’s not like this is anything is new. Trump’s been calling people to his office (Kanye, MLK Jr.’s son, etc.) and using them for photo ops for months now. I think the best play would be to attend while loudly and publicly remind Trump of his own words, that he would “do more for HBCUs than any other president has done before” in context of what Obama had done before.

Well I certainly would not have done some lame ass photo op showing “happy blacks” standing behind a man who once denied them units in his daddy’s apartment buildings. Wait till this pops up again in the 2020 campaign when he uses their smiling faces to say “the blacks. They love me!”

Their hearty smiles with the president makes it look like they were just happy to be in his company. I’m not sure how they were unaware that this president is generally ignorant and hostile toward black interests, but if you are going to sit down and deal with an adversary, you approach it with a lot more strategy…

One small benefit is that when people say “give him a chance,” you can respond with “we did, and we got fu¢ked.”
