At our house I set the WiFi to stop working on the kid’s devices at 8pm (they are 7 and 11). We also disable Safari on their iDevices - though the oldest has YouTube Kids (and lives on it). We have a Chromebook the kids share for schoolwork and they are allowed to safe search stuff they are interested in.
