I always get a ton of shit for this opinion, but strictly as an album listener  I find Beyonce’s records mid at best.

Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, and Janelle Monae. I don’t comprehend Taylor Swift (I also find Beyonce hit and miss, but that’s just me), but I also don’t really comprehend people who are totally stuck on rock music in 2024. Lucy Dacus is the fucking bomb though.

Good thing AVC was sold. If it were still owned by GMC, this would have been a slideshow with each song having a slide

I’ve decided I'm too old for Taylor Swift and she just doesn't speak to me and my experience of the world as a late 30s millennial filled with climate anxiety and vague sadness. And these weird gimmicks for the fans and against the critics don't exactly draw me in (which is fine I guess?). What are my fellow non

“It’s censorship if you don’t give me a place on this website to tell the people who work for it, probably woefully underpaid, how much they suck!”

Reviewer: likes show

I had a good time with it.

I thought the first season was great! I truly can’t understand the hatred for this show. I mean, so many arguments against this show were clearly anti-POC ravings disguised as appeals to nostalgia, so... I guess I do understand the hatred. Read the reviews on IMDB if you want to die a little today.

The most talented thing to ever come from Rob Schneider is Elle King. And while she’s not Taylor Swift, I have enjoyed the songs I’ve heard.

Then don’t listen to it. No one is forcing you to. That said, it is one of the most excellent podcasts out there.

To be clear, it *was* a dick thing to say, but in the grand scheme of things...eh?

I mean it is possible that it’s also...bad.

I see they’ve gotten to the “we can jump out of planes and shit” phase of this series, by where they are superhuman now, not just cops.

I’m always a bit mystified that people rarely credit Sigourney Weaver’s performance in Ghostbusters. Her acting elevated the movie, and the chemistry between her and Bill Murray created the heart of the story. IMHO, that’s the missing piece of the sequels - someone outside the primary quartet you actually cared about.

Maybe because around 5 years ago she admitted forcibly fingering Tom Hardy’s asshole at a director’s suggestion, then admitted capriciously groping Anne Hathaway’s breasts while in character feigning acute blindness? Practically bragging about both assaults? Just guessing.

I think the difference here is that the Japanese characters are also mostly trying to figure out how to use HIM to their own gain against the Portuguese. It’s also clear the Japanese are bigoted, as well. Pretty much everyone was, then.

Everyone in the original knew exactly what kind of ridiculous film they were making and just went for it. And I’ll bet there’s no one in this version who can begin to match Sam Elliott’s contribution.

Q: What do Christmas and Sydney Sweeney’s boobs have in common?

Because good science fiction, especially hard SF like this one should make sense, instead of being built on an idea that seems on the face of it to be obviously wrong.

A New York Post article claimed that it was because Lemon made too many demands, “including a free Tesla Cybertruck, a $5 million upfront payment on top of an $8 million salary, an equity stake in the multibillion-dollar company, and the right to approve any changes in X policy as it relates to news content.”
