    I've been using Windows Home Server for a few months as well on 2 desktops and a media center. It's great... I anticipate that's what I'll use upon final release as well. Nothing better out there, simple, effective, and as of right now it's free :)

    they didn't include Kayak because Kayak is not a travel service, it's a price aggregator that searches other services... Google needs to become a price aggregator, not a referrer... this is just another advertising scheme, not a helpful search tool imho.

    in all honesty if anyone has done research on the cost of metal lateral filing cabinets, $150 is on the cheap end... as a designer i appreciate anything that's better though out than the standard commercial filing cabs out there... nice post, but i'll stick with my laminate filing cabinet for now...

    @timh: was just about to post that, in most cases if you aren't allowed to install an app, chances are the registry is blocked too.

    wow, the MaxConnectionsPerServer hack has been around for years (at least since 2000)... this hack applies to all versions of IE.

    HSBC direct is what I use, typically the highest yield over ING and has an ATM card allowing you to withdraw anytime anywhere. A big pro over the rest.

    I've heard that creating your own living will doesn't and most likely won't hold up in court. Even if it's signed, witnessed and notarized, if the wording is wrong you could lose it all. This is something that really should be done by a lawyer.
