The problem with FTP is that it is such a broad category. Take World Of Tanks for example... Yes, technically you can, over 2 millenium or so, earn every item in game. But in reality unless you want to get 1-shot every round before even being able to shoot your BBs at the guy who paid $$ for his ammo, you have to pay.

It's probably their own money. Publicity through KickStarter via Kotaku et al is more valuable than the actual money from "backers". Ask yourself if you are really shocked. Can you say Double Fine?

I don't know if it's fair to single out the GTA series. I can think of plenty of times I wanted to kill someone after missing that license test over and over again in Gran Turismo 5 by 0.1 seconds.

I have played the most violent games in existence. I have seen the most disturbing films on earth including all Saw and Human Centipede (not my proudest moments). I have seen human decapitations and the remnants of suicide-bombers. And yes, I have witnessed '2 Girls, 1 Cup'.

This story has so many oddities... 90-years-old? I've got $10 that says grandma said "here grandson, do me a favor." Who in the world would assume their child is in good care with a 90-year-old? 90!! And then there's the town... SLAUGHTER, La? Clearly it was the name of the town that led him to do this... Just wow.

You can get a WiiU bundle for nearly the same price as a solo 3DS XL. $50 difference, well worth it. Handhelds are for suckers.

A game designed for a handheld not comparing to versions designed for much more powerful machines and hardware??? SHOCK!!!

So, just as last gen consoles, they finally BEGIN utilizing their full potential just a few weeks before they become obsolete.... sigh....
