Yeah I agree with you there, I think the show is brilliant. The fact I sometimes overtly notice the muzak is just a professional side-effect and doesn't detract from my enjoyment of it at all.

Yep, as a scorer of films/tv I'm often sucked out of a show by either excellent creation [pricked up ears time] or unsuitable motif choices [not necessarily bad music per se]. Unfortunately it's the latter more often than not on BCS [and BB to a degree].
