Okay, so let me preface this by saying I do agree to a certain extent on a few points. By having lived on both ends on the gender spectrum, my life has been influenced by the experiences of both. So I do sympathize with men on some critical issues that sometimes do get ignored frequently. At the same time, I also

Women attempt suicide three times more often than men. That doesn’t mean male suicide isn’t a problem, but the underlying issues that lead to suicide are not a gendered problem. Men are more successful at suicide because they tend to choose more violent (or “successful”) methods than women.

Are you interested in an intellectually honest conversation? If so, you should try this again, without selectively citing statistics while citing a source that quite obviously supports my point, not yours.

The MRA line is all about this feminized world turning men into second class citizens. And the fastest growing demographic for suicide in this country is teenage girls, they’re catching up to middle aged men. Yes,every issue you just laid out needs to be addressed, but all I see MRA organizations do is blame and bitch

Sorry dude, but MRA’s are misogynists. Progressive and misogynist are mutually exclusive.

Okay. See if you can spot the contradiction. Your first two items claim a need to focus on men because the problem you’ve identified affects men greater. Why is there a need to focus on men in the final point? Who are more likely to be domestic and sexual abuse survivors? It’s tough to think you hold these positions

Are those the positions that make you an MRA? Suicide prevention, more equitable education, and adequate access to counseling for rape survivors? I don’t think that’s it. I think what makes you an MRA is the msiguided belief that feminism, which is about correcting gender inequality, is about promoting female

LOL, way to misrepresent the problems people have with MRAs by setting up those straw men. Do you really think that anyone is not in favor of addressing suicide, improving education, and services for rape survivors? Do you think that feminists want those things only for women or something?

Progressive MRA? Mass of contradictions indeed.

Progressive. MRA. Pick one.

Oh for fuck’s sake Javier Bardem must be 20 years older than JLaw. Can we PLEASE start casting women born in the late sixties as the spouses of men born in the late sixties? Just, you know, as a wacky bold experiment?

Seriously. Take Silver Linings Playbook. If her husband died a bit ago, they were married for a few years, were engaged for say, a year, dated for a year or two before that, she must have been fucking 15 when she met him.

Coincidentally, that’s the age difference between Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky.

Is she playing a mother in this film too? Why is Jennifer Lawrence always being cast in roles that make way more sense for someone over 30*? She’s 26, shouldn’t she still be playing, like, Single Girl Trying To Find Her Way and Drunken Bachelorette Party Antics type roles?

Trump’s lawyer scanning documents for any impropriety:

Nothing would surprise me at this point, but quite honestly, the President seems less like the kind of guy who was organized enough to wiretap his own meetings and more like the type who makes vague threats in an attempt to bluff his way out of difficult situations.

Trump’s tax returns probably won’t show income or loans from Russia; it’s dirty money in cash or laundered through the Bank of Cyprus. This will take sophisticated forensic accounting. Meanwhile cherchez la fille: Ivanka is most likely the family bag man.

“But think about why someone is okay with your kids eating crap...”

God I hope Dems take the house in 2018 so that these demands can have a little more teeth. Paul Ryan and the GOP “leadership” will block any and all attempts to actually hold Donald accountable.

Here’s a super basic primer!
