Price is obviously crack-pipe. While the styling was greatly improved for this generation, these were still crummy cars from Hyundai’s dark days. A clean RSX of this age might be worth $7,000. This is worth half that.

One thing to consider, is you aren’t going to pay MSRP for an ST. When I bought mine 2 years ago, I got it for $9000 off MSRP. Looking at actual sales prices, and the ST is a much better bargain than the WRX or GTI.
My reply below is based on two years of history on one car. Most ALS systems aren’t controlled or engineered in the way that these are. And in terms of rally cars eating turbochargers, I’d say that their turbocharger attrition is more related to restrictor usage, and while ALS may impact that, these are unrestricted…
