I didn't feel this one :( But back early/mid-90s, when I was in HS & my sister was still in elementary school, there was a small one here... like a 2... I was sitting at the computer doing whatever when the ground shook briefly... My sister was on the bus coming home, apparently going over train tracks, so she

I would love to see #s 2 & 3 come together. A Google Nexus Prime 2, serviced by G-Mobile, unlimited 4G data + free tethering for $30/month. Voice package's price, tiers and coverage comparable to Verizon/AT&T's...

Generally, just my phone (Droid X). It works as a browser, MP3 player, phone, etc... I use to have a couple USB drives I kept on my key ring. I don't have them on my key ring any more, but I still have a few in a binder thingy I can take with when I need. Same with my laptop. I also have an old iPhone I can use

I like undecim's list....

"First, for example, you hear a few songs on Pandora or Last.fm, then you search out those songs on Spotify to put them in your own playlists, then you have to search for them again on Amazon MP3 or iTunes (or less reputable file-sharing services) if you want to download them for permanent storage"

Maybe because it was a capital I that started ill, and usually ill doesn't start sentences, so the phone assumes you're trying to type I'll instead.... But yeah, I was wondering about that as well (or should I say we'll)

I was having issues typing in the comment box as well for awhile (using Chrome & ABP). Yea for finding out it wasn't just me :D

While I've no qualms about a DIY project that gets you tinkering around, I'd think an easier, possibly more efficient solution would be to just get one of those cassette tapes devices that connect to your player's headphone connection.

I agree.... I'm very surprised Chrome wasn't the stock browser (even if, for whatever reason, they decided to call it Browser, instead of Chrome), or there hasn't been a port over to Android... It would be nice if it were, then we could sync bookmarks, saved passwords, etc easier between our computers & our phones.

I don't usually visit Hulu or [studio].com often to watch shows, but I've never seen an advert on Youtube using ABP, so...

I think there are some slightly more attractive services that could provide similar results.

Alright, Gonna get a little off topic, but.... monkeybusiness.... Which Fraternity? Its always great running into another Greek on a geek site like this....

I'd think the National Weather Service (or whatever Japan calls it) could work with Japan's cellular provider(s). If they detect a quake coming for, say Tokyo, all cell towers in/around Tokyo sends out a massive text to all mobile devices that are connected to it telling people to seek shelter. If someone comes into

CTRL+A to select the entire document, CTRL+C to copy it.... Open a Word Document, and press CTRL+V to paste... then CTRL+P to print.... Problem solved.... Or does the DRM prevent copying? (and yes, I realize how dumb that question sounds)

As hurr. pancakes points out, those commercial breaks during the show that you (most likely) use to go to the restroom, and/or get more snacks, etc actually provide the network, in this case Fox, with the majority of its financial income. And the more popular a show is, the more they can charge companies for

Hence the point of the article... it doesn't work :)

"the average Android consumer in the U.S. spends 56 minutes per day actively interacting with the web and apps on their phone"

Other than the obvious (not having anything to physically hold onto) what's the difference between a paper & electronic bond?

A couple suggestions:

I haven't really dug into Google Voice's filtering system much... But the last paragraph has me wondering...
