Yeah... Like I said I didn't recall the number.... And guns aren't exactly an area I have much expertise in...

There has been some talk about NFC possibly replacing QR codes... But I don't see that happening, like tad604 said, I'd expect to see them around for awhile... Its easier/cheaper to just print off the funky little square than to embed an NFC chip in everything... Sticking a QR code onto a flight ticket makes more

My younger cousin had 7 (inc. him) in his class... Though he went to a small private religious school...

I think its actually more of a "hey I found this useful, you might to" kind of thing that'll share with your friends. If you google search something, and you find the site really useful, you can click the +1 button next to it. Then if one of your friends does a search and that page is in the results it'll get moved

I'll second that.... I use to work at an ISP that also did computer repair... I've noticed some 'interesting' looking files pop up when I ran antivirus/malware scans, or while backing up data before a reformat)... I never found anything as bad as kiddy porn... Though I did end up getting a fairly large collection

Its my alma mater! Pretty close to where my Fraternity has their house actually...

Woo-hoo! All those war stories about Vietnam my dad told me are actually becoming useful! I don't recall the exact number, but something like every 30th or so bullet (depends on the gun, and how fast it expands rounds) is coated in Phosphorous (or some similar chemical) so it'll leave a visible streak as it flies

You basically said exactly what I was going to say.

Its not perfect, but its worked fairly well for me. Occasionally it'll flub up on a word or two, but as @curiouscomputer said, as long as you speak clearly and enunciate like you should... It should be able to get like 97% of the conversation right... And the few words it doesn't, should be close enough. Although I

Awesome! Though, just to verify I'm reading it right... the Android/iOS app only works with offline music right, you still can't play streamed music (unless you've paid) right???

I'm on Verizon, so no first hand knowledge, but my understanding (mostly from articles discussing Amazon's app store) is that the "Check to allow non-market app installs" option under security settings is not present on AT&T phones. Without it, the phone won't install any third party apk files.

Actually... According to an article I read a few days ago on an iPhone site:

AT&T doesn't allow non-market apps to be installed... I'd assume maybe if you load a non-stock rom you'd get that ability back...

be careful with shared seedboxes and let the admin of any private tracker you may use know your on one. Private trackers generally have a 1 account per user rule, and as the name implies, shared seedboxes are shared - in other words someone else out there is running around with the same IP you are. If you both have

Awhile back, I noticed the WiFi tether app that Melde pointed to ([code.google.com] in the market... I downloaded it (figuring it'd be easier keeping it updated that way)... But since I have it from the Market, there's a possibility it could get zapped from the phone (as Google did with the malware apps awhile ago).

Just wondering if anyone has used Google TV? If you use the tweak that'll un-block it from the network's blocks, allowing you to stream shows from their sites, plus Netflix and maybe OTA stations... It sounds like it could be a pretty decent cord cutter... Especially if you can also use Hulu on it (I know you can't

Doesn't the Android phone have this built in? When I go into edit the contact's information, I have the option of selecting a customized ringtone for that person, or setting it so all calls go direct to voice mail.

One small correction....

yeah, that'd be another issue... Most likely, they'd have a program that'd scan the collected data. Have it check for suspicious file names. Most release groups use their name as part of the file name, as well as listing the quality (cam, dvdrip, etc). And it could check the hash codes of the various files - so if

hmm... Just checked my Droid X and didn't see it.... oh well... "TO THE CLOUD!" (aka Google)... I'm sure I'll find something.... Thanks for the heads up though :)
